The theme of the poster design was retro video games. I chose to depict a classic, Donkey Kong. Instead of throwing barrels as usual, I used film canisters to tie the theme into topic of the festival: film and videos! This piece was chosen and published throughout campus.
For the Spring 2013 semester, no topic was given so I chose film strips as the visual aspect of the poster design and utilized the swatches that Pantone supplied for Spring of 2013 to make it more visually enticing and eye-catching.
